The main objective of the project is the investigation of the influence of turbulent mixing in a room on the cleaning performance of indoor air cleaners.
The working hypothesis is: The cleaning mechanism of room air cleaners relies heavily on the turbulent mixing and less on directed convective aerosol transport.
